As we welcome in 2020 today, I can’t help but think about this beautiful year we’ve been so blessed to see. We’re so thankful for every single couple we’ve had the honor of getting to document this year. Each month was a gift. Each and ever wedding so uniquely different and wonderful. Each couple so beautifully matched and complimentary. To every couple we’ve had the joy of getting to know and capture, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Eric & Sara wanted to leave Chicago for a laid back destination wedding in Wisconsin, and it was perfect. The leaves had just graced the trees for the season and The Grand Geneva Resort & Spa was in full bloom. These two and their outdoor ceremony were such a treat. Also, it’s always a joy getting to work alongside our all time favorite Lake Geneva vendors. Sam & Lara have a story that makes us as warm and fuzzy as their Grand Geneva wedding day. The warm summer glow combined with the brilliant and lush florals by Frontier Flowers of Fontana made for a perfect Lake Side Wisconsin ceremony. The girl who moved in next door finally became Mrs. Zuidema and it was such an honor to capture everything they had been waiting for finally coming to fruition! Thank you for the privilege of getting to be a part of your team, Lara & Sam!
Sam & Lara have a story that makes us as warm and fuzzy as their Grand Geneva wedding day. Lara moved in next door to Sam when they were just kids. They grew up together. Their families were dear friends, their siblings became good friends, and eventually Sam & Lara became more than just friends. Sam was dedicated to finishing Law School before starting this next season of life. Their patience and hard work were well worth it as we captured everything they waited for come to fruition on this day. These two are as kind and warm as their Midwestern August Wedding. Lara’s smile and laughter are contagious. The way Sam looked at her as she came down the aisle was everything. The warm summer glow combined with the brilliant and lush florals by Frontier Flowers of Fontana made for a perfect Lake Side Wisconsin ceremony. (AND that cross! Just breath taking!)
